Sunday 21^st December

"Shop Local" is not a new notion but traders in Halesworth are urging people to do just that this Christmas. What's more, they'll be opening their doors on the Sunday beforehand – December 21^st from 10am.

To make things easy for shoppers, the local council has agreed that parking will be free for the day in all the town car parks.

Halesworth boasts a great range of shops – one of the best in East Anglia. For last minute presents there's an enormous range to choose from: books & stationary, electricals, photographics and sports goods, clothing, jewellery and accessories, chocolates toys and gifts galore! It's hard to think of something you won't find.

Food shops will be open as well with everything you'll need to eat and drink over the seasonal period. If you fancy taking lunch, a light bite or just a drink, there's plenty of choice.

To cheer things along there'll be live street music throughout the day.

Why spend the day queuing for the supermarket car park or waiting for the park and ride bus when there's a warm welcome waiting on your doorstep.
